SLO Green Build has adopted the Build It Green checklist and guidelines for local use. Green Building Checklists can be downloaded at no cost from the Build it Green website. Green Building Guidelines can be purchased in hard copy or electronic format at the same site. Checklists and guidelines are available for the following building types:
The following SLO County Supplement to Green Building Guideines was developed by SLO Green Build to be used in conjunction with the Build It Green Guidelines. For non-residential construction, SLO Green Build recommends the LEED green building rating system, available at www.usgbc.org.
