The County is committed to Low Impact Development (LID) and is working with the Wallace Group to develop an LID design manual for SLO County.
The Appropriate Technology group is working on the gray water booklet and is looking to partner with local agencies to develop educational literature to encourage graywater systems throughout the County. Gray water is a viable strategy for water security.
