When a detailed summary of a particular topic is needed to help promote particular green building strategies, SLO Green Build will author or partner with other organizations to author a comprehensive analysis of a particular technology or green building issue.
Los Osos Wastewater Treatment Project:
A very controversial topic in San Luis Obispo County is the proposal for a sewer and wastewater treatment facility in the town of Los Osos. SLO Green Build and other partnering organizations released a statement that addresses the key environmental issues as it pertains to the proposed sewer and wastewater treatment system in Los Osos. SLO Green Build remains a neutral party with respect to the politics and emotions of this sensitive issue, but encourages the final decision be made with all of the appropriate technologies being evaluated to reduce the environmental impact of both construction and operation of the system.
